I still have wonderful memories of my early years growing up on what is now Roncesvalles Avenue, from 1950 – 1960. Where did you get this information?

    • jack gibney says:

My main source of information has been ‘Parkdale In Pictures’ that I purchased from the Parkdale library. I have also read extensively on line at such sites as thecanadianencyclopedia.ca and wickapedia.org. If you could be more specific, I could narrow down the source.

Love the history, I grew up in Parkdale and family home still there. Intrigued by the Parkdale Town Hall picture, this building looks very familiar, is it still standing and what is the location? Thanks so much for sharing this!

    • jack gibney says:

The original building stood an the s w corner of Queen St W and Cowan. It is now 1313 Queen West, built in 1931.
